About Me
through a brief gaze
I am a Kurdish woman with roots in Dersim/ North Kurdistan, born and grew up in german diaspora.
My name Bakış means gaze in Turkish.
And it’s not only my name – it’s how I see and experience the world. Remembering the words of my parents saying “Live your name, let your life become a journey”, I gazed in to new worlds joining my path. Growing up between different cultures and languages, my journey has shaped my mission: celebrating diversity and creating spaces for connection. The feeling of a gaze is strong and empowering.
I want to unleash your full potential by looking deeper into your concerns to tap into your own resources with new perspectives.
As a wandering storyteller, I bring colors, stories, and life into my workshops, projects, and interactions.
The moment you’re independently practicing your own and surrounding potentials on the topics shared here – I’ll know that my work is done.

Gaze In invites you to look inward and outward, embracing both simplicity and complexity with curiosity and courage. It’s a space where personal and universal experiences connect, fostering collaboration and growth. In my transcultural work, I use the methodology “Gaze In“ as an inclusive and holistic approach to education, creative practice and community building. For this, I offer consultancy and coaching on an interdisciplinary and intersectional basis – in English, German and Turkish.
A gaze is more than a fleeting moment – it’s a way of exploring, questioning, and discovering.
